Itinerary

Imagine stepping through candlelit doors into the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, your 18th-century gown catching the light of a thousand crystal chandeliers, the music of a live orchestra filling the gilded air around you. This is not a dream. This is seven extraordinary days with a group of like-minded women who said yes to the most magical adventure of their lives.

Your journey begins in Paris, where cobblestone streets, croissant-scented mornings, and the art-filled heart of Montmartre set the stage for what is to come. You will wander through one of the world's greatest museums, linger over long French dinners, and have a full free day to fall in love with the city at your own pace. Then, just as the anticipation peaks, your group transfers to Versailles, where professional stylists transform you for the ball.

The Grand Masked Ball at Versailles happens only once a year, and this year, you will be there. From the sunset garden promenade and the dazzling fountain show to the moment those ballroom doors open at midnight, every detail of this evening is designed to take your breath away. You will dance, celebrate, and share something truly unforgettable with your new travel companions, carrying the memory of this night with you always.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1 - PARIS: YOUR CITY OF LIGHT AWAITS

Your adventure begins the moment you land at Charles de Gaulle Airport, where a private transfer whisks you straight to your elegant home base in the heart of Paris. Take a little time to settle in, open the window, and breathe in the unmistakable energy of this city. Paris has a way of making you feel like something wonderful is about to happen, and in this case, it truly is. This evening, your group gathers for a welcome dinner at a classic French bistro, clinking glasses over dishes of rich onion soup, golden roast chicken, and velvety tarts. Names are exchanged, laughter comes easily, and a shared sense of excitement fills the table. Your Paris adventure has officially begun.

Note: We recommend your flight arrive early enough to join the welcome dinner. If you wish to arrive one day early, additional night accommodations can be arranged. Meals: Dinner Accommodations: Hidden Hotel Paris or Equivalent

DAY 2 - MONTMARTRE AND THE MAGIC OF YOUR MASQUERADE COSTUME

This morning belongs to Montmartre, the beloved hilltop village that has inspired artists, poets, and dreamers for centuries. Your expert guide leads you through winding cobblestone lanes lined with bougainvillea, past charming cafes still setting out their morning chairs, and up to the gleaming white dome of Sacre-Coeur Basilica, where all of Paris spreads out below you in a breathtaking panorama. You will hear the stories of the painters who made this neighborhood famous and wander the same streets where Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec once wandered. Then comes the afternoon's most delightful surprise: your private costume fitting. Expert stylists guide you through a selection of magnificent 18th-century ensembles, helping you choose the gown, accessories, and mask that feel perfectly, unmistakably you. The excitement in the room is electric.

DAY 3 - YOUR FREE DAY IN PARIS

Today is entirely yours, and Paris is waiting. Sleep a little later, wander wherever curiosity leads, and discover what this city means to you personally. You might drift through the elegant boutiques of Le Marais, spend a quiet morning in a museum that has always called to you, or simply settle into a sidewalk cafe with a cafe au lait and watch the beautiful rhythm of Parisian life go by. Your trip host will have a wonderful collection of recommendations, from hidden gardens and lesser-known galleries to the best macaron shops in the city. This is the kind of unhurried, unscripted day that often produces the most cherished travel memories. Meet back with your group for dinner and share the stories of where the day took you.

DAY 4 - THE LOUVRE AND ONWARD TO VERSAILLES

This morning, you step inside the most visited art museum on earth, and thanks to your reserved access, you walk past the queues and straight into its magnificent galleries. The Louvre is vast and endlessly surprising, but your guided experience brings it into focus: the quiet smile of the Mona Lisa, the serene marble curves of the Venus de Milo, the sweeping painted ceilings of the grand salons. After a leisurely lunch, your group boards a private transfer and heads southwest out of Paris toward Versailles. As the city gives way to wide tree-lined avenues and then the famous golden gates of the palace come into view, the mood in the vehicle shifts. You are here. You are actually here. Check into your hotel, just steps from the palace grounds, and feel the anticipation settle in beautifully.

DAY 5 - THE GRAND MASKED BALL AT THE PALACE OF VERSAILLES

This is the day you have been waiting for. The morning is slow and sweet, giving you time to rest and savor the knowing excitement of what lies ahead. Then, in the afternoon, your professional stylist takes over. Hair pinned and powdered, makeup drawn in the romantic style of the French court, and your magnificent gown fitted just so, you look into the mirror and see a woman from another century entirely. Your group gathers for an early dinner, buzzing with delight, before the real magic begins. At sunset, you enter the Versailles gardens for a private stroll among your fellow travelers, champagne in hand, as the sky turns gold and rose above the topiary. Professional photographers capture your group in all its glory. Then comes the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes, the world-famous fountain and light show that transforms the palace grounds into something from a dream. At 11:30pm, the doors to the Hall of Mirrors open, and you step inside. Dance, laugh, marvel, and celebrate until the early hours of the morning in one of the most magnificent rooms ever built.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Accommodations: Hotel Le Versailles or Equivalent

DAY 6 - RETURN TO PARIS AND A FAREWELL ON THE SEINE

After the grandeur of last night, this morning is made for sleeping in. Enjoy a long, leisurely brunch and relive the highlights of the ball with your travel companions over coffee and warm croissants. There is no rush today. Your private transfer returns you to Paris in the early afternoon, giving you time to rest, reflect, and perhaps do a little last-minute exploring before the evening. Tonight, your group boards an elegant Bateau Mouche for a farewell dinner cruise along the Seine River. As the boat glides past the illuminated Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, and the grand bridges of Paris, you raise a glass together. You came as strangers and leave as friends who have shared something extraordinary.

DAY 7 - AU REVOIR, PARIS

After breakfast, your private transfer takes you to Charles de Gaulle Airport for your flight home. Paris will feel a little smaller in the rearview mirror, but the memories you carry are enormous: the glittering Hall of Mirrors, the warmth of your fellow travelers, the feeling of your gown sweeping across a centuries-old marble floor. Some adventures change you in quiet, lasting ways. This is one of them. Until next time.

Note: Please ensure your departure flight allows enough time after breakfast for a comfortable transfer to CDG. Meals: Breakfast Accommodations: None
