From there, stroll the Royal Mile, the ancient spine of the Old Town, where every close and courtyard hides centuries of history waiting to be uncovered. You'll pause at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official Scottish residence of the King, and hear the stories of the queens and kings who shaped this city into what it is today.
