Itinerary

The Netherlands in April is nothing short of magical. Imagine standing at the edge of a garden where seven million tulips blaze in every shade of red, yellow, and violet, the sweet fragrance carried on a gentle spring breeze. Picture yourself gliding along Amsterdam's centuries-old canals, the narrow gabled houses reflected perfectly in the still water below. This is the Netherlands at its most glorious, and you are about to experience every breathtaking moment of it with a small group of like-minded women by your side.

From the profound to the beautiful, this journey takes you to the heart of Dutch history and culture. You will stand in the very rooms where Anne Frank wrote her diary, lose yourself in the swirling colors of Van Gogh's most beloved paintings, wander the cobblestone streets of Delft past artisan potters who still paint by hand just as their ancestors did centuries ago, and discover the stately elegance of The Hague, home to kings and queens and world-class art.

Seven days, three extraordinary cities, and countless moments you will carry home long after you return. Your travel companions on this journey will become the friends you never expected to find, and the Netherlands will become a place that lives forever in your heart.

DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1 - APRIL 14: WELCOME TO AMSTERDAM

Your adventure begins the moment you touch down at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. After a smooth arrival transfer, you settle into your home for the next three nights in the heart of this magnificent city. Once you have freshened up and shaken off the jet lag, your group gathers for a private walking tour through Amsterdam's most iconic neighborhoods. Together you stroll along the famous canal rings, admire the tilting gabled houses that line the waterfront, and discover the hidden courtyards tucked away behind ordinary-looking doors. As golden evening light falls across the water, your new travel companions join you for a warm welcome dinner at a beloved local restaurant, raising a glass to the adventure ahead.

DAY 2 - APRIL 15: HISTORY, ART, AND UNFORGETTABLE STORIES

Today takes you into two of the most important spaces in all of Europe. Your morning begins at the Anne Frank House, where your guide brings history to life as you move quietly through the concealed rooms of the Secret Annex, the place where Anne, her family, and four others hid in fear and hope for more than two years. It is a visit that stays with you. This afternoon, the mood lifts as you step into the radiant world of the Van Gogh Museum, home to the largest collection of Vincent's work anywhere on earth. You will stand before "Starry Night" and "Sunflowers," feeling the raw emotion that pours from every brushstroke. The stories of these two remarkable souls make Amsterdam feel like more than just a beautiful city. It feels like hallowed ground.

DAY 3 - APRIL 16: SEVEN MILLION BLOOMS AT KEUKENHOF

No trip to the Netherlands in spring would be complete without a morning at the Keukenhof Gardens, and no description can truly prepare you for what you will see. Thirty-two hectares of pure color stretch before you as seven million tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths burst open in glorious bloom. Themed gardens lead you from one breathtaking display to the next, through Japanese-inspired landscapes and flower-framed waterways to artistic arrangements that feel more like paintings than gardens. The scent alone is worth crossing an ocean for. Bring your camera and give yourself plenty of time to simply wander, pause, and take it all in. This is one of those rare places that makes you feel completely alive, and sharing it with your fellow travelers makes it even sweeter.

DAY 4 - APRIL 17: FREE DAY IN AMSTERDAM, THEN ON TO THE HAGUE

This morning, Amsterdam is entirely yours. If adventure calls, rent a bicycle and pedal out along one of the city's 515 kilometers of dedicated bike paths into the Dutch countryside, where windmills turn slowly against an open sky and small villages seem untouched by time. If you prefer a slower pace, wander the charming shopping streets, pop into a neighborhood cheese shop or flower market, or settle into a canal-side cafe with a good book and a perfect cup of coffee. However you spend it, this free time is a gift, a chance to fall in love with Amsterdam in your own way. This evening, your group boards the train together bound for The Hague, arriving in time to check into your new hotel and rest up for the days ahead.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Accommodations: Hotel De Salon van Fagel or Equivalent

Note: Lunch is on your own today during your free time in Amsterdam.

DAY 5 - APRIL 18: THE ROYAL CAPITAL OF THE NETHERLANDS

The Hague carries itself with a quiet elegance that sets it apart from anywhere else in the Netherlands. This morning, your private guide leads you through the stately heart of the royal capital, past the magnificent Binnenhof, the historic seat of parliament that has been the center of Dutch political life for more than seven centuries, and along the lush gardens surrounding the Royal Palace Noordeinde. Local monuments and hidden corners bring the layered story of this remarkable city to life. Your afternoon and evening are free to explore on your own terms. The world-class museums of the art district beckon, the shopping boulevard of Grote Marktstraat offers wonderful browsing, or perhaps you simply want to find a quiet cafe and soak in the unhurried pace of this refined and graceful city.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 6 - APRIL 19: THE BLUE AND WHITE MAGIC OF DELFT

Just a short journey from The Hague, the town of Delft feels like stepping into one of Vermeer's paintings. The canals are narrower here, the streets quieter, and everywhere you look there is the gentle beauty that inspired one of the greatest artists who ever lived. Your group wanders through artisan pottery studios where skilled craftspeople still hand-paint the iconic blue-and-white ceramics using techniques passed down through generations, each piece a small work of art. A visit to the Vermeer Centre deepens your appreciation for the mysterious light that made this town world-famous. Browse the local shops for a piece of authentic Delft Blue to bring home, then gather for lunch at a cozy restaurant before heading back to The Hague. This evening, your group shares a festive farewell dinner together, celebrating the memories you have made and the friendships that will long outlast the journey.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 7 - APRIL 20: FAREWELL, NETHERLANDS

After a final breakfast together, you board the train from The Hague back to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, carrying with you the colors of Keukenhof, the stories of Anne Frank and Van Gogh, the scent of hyacinths in spring, and the warmth of the women who shared it all with you. Safe travels home.
