Day 1: Besancon This evening, we board the ship — and our home for the next six nights. After comfortably settling into our cabins, we'll introduce the crew at a welcome cocktail party before dinner. (b, d)
Day 2: Besancon > Ranchot We'll depart by coach to Arc-et-Senans for the tour of the Saline Royale. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this royal factory was built between 1775 and 1779 at the wish of King Louis XV. We'll return on board after our tour and cruise toward Ranchot. (b, l, d)
Day 3: Ranchot > Dole This morning will be spent cruising to Dole. Relax and marvel in the coastal tranquility of the French countryside as we make our way down the lazy river. In the afternoon, join us for aunique tour following the "trail of the perched cat.”This trail refers to the famous Tales of the Perched Cat, written be Marcel Aymé, who lived in Dole as a child. Day 4: Dole > Saint-Jean-de-Losne Enjoy the sun deck as the scenery rolls by on our cruise toward Saint-Jean-de-Losne this morning. In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour of the city and the Museum of La Batellerie, which recounts the history of navigation — followed by a tasting of local products. (b, l, d)
Day 5: Saint-Jean-de-Losne > Petit-Ouges Today we’ll cruise toward Petit-Ouges, arriving in the afternoon. Spend time reflecting on the terrace or relaxing in the lounge. Upon arrival in Petit-Ouges, enjoy leisure time to discover the “circuit of the three wash-houses.” (b, l, d)
Day 6: Petit-Ouges > Dijon Upon our arrival in Dijon this afternoon, we’ll disembark for an excursion along the Grands Crus Wine Route. This hot spot passes through the finest and most prestigious of the Burgundy vineyards. Tonight is our gala evening and dinner. (b, l, d)
Day 7: Dijon Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before your adventure ends. (b)
