Day 1: Arles Welcome to Provence! After boarding your ship and settling into your cabins,we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and remain in port overnight. (d)
Day 2: Arles > Gallician Discover the cultural center and Roman ruins of Arles today, before traveling inland to learn about olive oil production in Provence. We'll finish up our tour with a tasting of some local products. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon as we cruise along the Rhône River and the Rhône à Sète Canal. (b, l, d)
Day 3 : Gallician > Aigues-Mortes This morning we'll depart on an excursion to the region of Camargue. Afterwards, enjoy some free time in the city of Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer, where you might explore its fortified church. Afterwards, enjoy the scenic views from the river as we travel towards Aigues-Mortes, arriving in the early evening. (b, l, d)
Day 4 : Aigues Mortes > Palavas-les-Flots Embark today for a tour of Aigues-Mortes, a historical city located in the middle of the marshes and one of the most beautiful sites in Provence. We'll board a train to tour the salt marshes and visit the salt museum. In the afternoon, we’ll cruise to Palavas-Les-Flots, where you’ll have time unscripted to discover the rich history of this gorgeous spa resort. (b, l, d)
Day 5 : Palvalas-les-Flotes > Sete Diving into some local culture, we’ll set out on a tour to learn about a ‘manade’ and the life of its herders. We’ll follow this up with a delicious snack featuring products from the farm. The afternoon will be spent cruising towards Sète, arriving in the early evening. (b, l, d)
Day 6 : Sete Today we head to the Étang De Thau, famous for its shellfish. We’ll stop at the Étang de ThauMuseum to learn more about the history of the shellfish farmers and fishermen, and then taste some of the shellfish while taking in the beauty of the basin from a terrace. The afternoon will be dedicated to a tour of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, one of the most beautiful villages in France. We'll return on board for our gala dinner and evening. (b, l, d)
Day 7 : Sete > Arles Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before your included transfer heads back to Arles. (b)
