Enjoy a day of Leisure! Perhaps enjoy a harbor cruise where you’ll learn about the rich history of numerous points of interest including the stately homes along the Battery and the harbor’s historical forts. Or maybe you’d like to taste your way through Charleston! Visit some of Charleston’s gourmet Lowcountry restaurants with Culinary Tours of Charleston -- Voted “Top 5 Tours to Take in Charleston” by Southern Living. For lunch or dinner maybe you’d like to visit Urban Spoon, Charleston’s most talked about restaurants, Husk, Magnolias, FIG or the Fat Hen.DAY 4: Charleston-Beaufort - Savannah, SC (B) (HL) (HD)
After breakfast continue to Beaufort and enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic district. This district is renowned for its impressive collection of antebellum architecture that reflects the Federal, Neoclassical and Greek Revival styles that were popular during the interwar period, along with the widespread use of tabby. Originally a fishing village and port of safety dating from the late 1600's, Beaufort has been visited by patriots, privateers, merchants and skilled craftsmen who built Bahamian and West Indian style homes and public buildings. More than 100 of these have been restored and proudly bear plaques proclaiming their names and dates of construction. Enjoy a Highlight Lunch this afternoon at Plum’s Restaurant, considered a local favorite. They present their creations classically and artfully, ensuring a unique experience. This evening, check into Savannah’s Mulberry Inn, and enjoy an elegant champagne and strawberries reception and take in all the southern charm of your hotel. Enjoy breakfast at leisure this morning. Prepare to step back into the "Old South" and experience the charm classes a southern belle would receive. Learn how traditions, etiquette, and style transcend time. Enjoy a hat fashion show, featuring the finest hats in fashion of the South and learn the history of the fan and high tea. A southern lady is never fully dressed without her "chapeau!" The choice of a hat not only makes a statement of who you are, but also indicates, "Where you might be going." Enjoy hats from Scarlet's Closet, and Jackie O's to what's new today. This evening enjoy Farewell Dinner at Savannah’s legendary Olde Pink House followed by a special musical performance at the historic Savannah Theatre.DAY 6: Savannah, SC (B)
After breakfast, time to check out and take your transfer to Savannah International Airport.
